Bio

Zhao Yanli, Lee Soo Ying Professor and Associate Chair of the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He also serves as Chief Scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. Zhao currently carries out multidisciplinary research, doing studies in Combinatorial Chemistry, biomedical engineering, and materials science. His research interest includes the design and production of self-assembled materials, as well as their application in biomedical, catalytic, and green energy fields. As of now, Zhao Yanli has published over 500 SCI papers with an h-index of 110. He has received honors and awards such asMIT Technogy Review's Innovators Under 35 (Singapore 2012), ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces Young Investigator Award (2017), Investigatorship from the National Research Foundation, Singapore (2018), Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher (2018-2022), and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the United Kingdom (2022). Zhao Yanli Served as Executive Editor of the academic journalACS Applied Nano Materials.
